The winner takes it all... and yes, the winners of Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2 on Colors have been announced.

The celebrity and common man duo to win this season’s top honours turned out to be the fun loving, prankster couple — Anushka and Gurmeet! Anushka, known for her sporty and adventurous spirit, was paired with Punjab da munda Gurmeet in this season of the show. The duo, which performed decently throughout the show, started pushing their limits towards the end.

“We have been on an edge throughout the show,” said Anoushka, “Before every stunt, I used to have butterflies in my tummy and I was scared. But, surprisingly, I was extremely relaxed before the final stunt. I was not at all stressed considering that somewhere I knew that I couldn’t be thrown out now!” Gurmeet added, “We had our strategy worked out. We had been taking each day as it came and at the end our only plan was to stay calm and not let emotions and fear get to us. All we wanted to do was give it our 100 percent. I know I had been holding back during the earlier stunts but I gave it my all during this one!”

Gurmeet, who is now back in his native Punjab, is excited about the fact that people who didn’t even know him have now started recognising him in the streets. Anushka, on the other hand, is relieved after finally winning on the show. She is, however, more excited about the friends that she made on the show.
