The second season of Bigg Boss is all set to go on air from August-end on a newly-launched channel Colors. The channel, we hear, has roped in Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty to host the show.
Shilpa, who became a hot favourite in Britain after her Big Brother win, has replaced Arshad Warsi. Our source said, “Shilpa has been signed on for a whopping Rs 8 crore by the production house. She is the first celeb to be finalised on the show while the participants are yet to be finalised.”
The show is slated to go on air once Khatron Ke Khiladi hosted by Akshay Kumar ends by the end of August. Confirming the news Rajesh Kamat, CEO of Colors said, “Yes, Bigg Boss - Season 2 is going to air on Colors.” However, he refused to comment on Shilpa being signed on as the host.
Bigg Boss was hugely popular on Sony TV last year.
