Salim Kumar, the gifted comedy artiste has already done many roles in his film career thus far. He has even donned a serious role, that of father of daughters in a serious movie. However the actor has so far not enacted a double role. The upcoming Malayalam movie Happy Husbands will offer something different to the actor.

In Happy Husbands Salim Kumar will be in a double role. He would appear onscreen as Sathyapalan and Dharmapalan, the twin brothers. The movie which features Jayaram, Indrajith and Jayasurya in the lead roles will have Salim Kumar in the role of a cardiologist based in Kochi and his twin brother a resort owner running a firm in Bangkok.

Happy Husbands has definitely bought twin joy to Salim Kumar as well. He will be playing a double role for the first time and so also the names of the double characters are in fact the names of his brothers in real life as well. However this has come as strange coincidence and it is said that the script writer Krishna Poojappura was hardly aware of this.
