Lakhan Singh aka Lucky (Sonu Sood) is the 'king' of the Australian underworld accompanied by his associates (played by Javed Jaffrey, Neha Dhupia, Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma, Kamal Chopra and Sudhanshu Pande.) Far away, in a small village in Punjab, where Lucky was born, there exists someone more notorious than him - Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar). The village is fed up of his magnanimity, which has resulted in a number of hilariously disastrous situations. Out of desperation, they decide to send him on a long trip (that will keep him out of the village for a while!) to bring Lucky back to Punjab, as his despicable deeds were maligning their image in Australia.

A group of six terrorists takes control of the airplane to secure release of Maqsood (KK Raina) who had been captured by the Indian police. The flight is forced to land at Chandigarh airport. The terrorists demand the release of Maqsood and threaten to kill the hostages. The mastermind of this terrorist group is a man named Abdullah who remains a mystery till the end.

Enters a tarot card reader {Archana Puran Singh} who tells Saba that she can get her good luck charm back if she kisses Vicky again. The catch was that Vicky was wearing a mask when she kissed him at the party. The search begins they meet and fall in love but she doesn't know that Vicky is the boy who has the good luck charm. And the day she realises the truth she selfishly takes the kiss back leaving Vicky and his band to struggle for success again.
